The South Pigeon Lake Fire Department and Mulhurst Fire Department have commenced water rescue at Pigeon Lake. They are certified in boat handling, PWC handling and are ice & water rescue technicians.
Funding for this service has been received through partnerships with the Summer Villages around Pigeon Lake, Community Groups and Leduc & Wetaskiwin Counties.
