Why Attend?

Learn About Proposed Changes: Understand the key updates we are considering for the Land Use Bylaw, including:

  • An increase in permitted uses across different land districts
  • Fewer land districts for a more streamlined understanding and application of the bylaw
  • Reduced restrictions on home-based business classifications
  • Greater flexibility in what constitutes a dwelling and the number allowed per lot based on your district.
  • And more…

Come and have your questions answered by our planning team and experts. You'll also have the opportunity to share your ideas on the proposed changes as we collaborate on drafting the updated Land Use Bylaw, ensuring it better reflects the needs of our community and supports the future of the County of Wetaskiwin.

Your participation is vital to ensure the updated bylaw meets the diverse needs of our community, while in accordance with the Municipal Government Act.
