Tenders are to be delivered to the County Administration Building, one kilometer west of Wetaskiwin on Highway 13.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified cheque or money order equal to 10% of the total tender. Tenders will be opened in public at 9:00 a.m., local time, July 9, 2024, at the County of Wetaskiwin Administration Building. The successful tender will be responsible for all other associated costs (ie: GST, document registration, transfer charges). The highest bid or any tender is not necessarily accepted.
Under the Authority of the Municipal Government Act, Section 425, Chapter M-26.1, “a municipality may dispose of a parcel by selling it at a price that is as close as reasonably possible to the market value of the parcel”. With this direction, Council will review and resolve which offer, if any, is to be accepted.
