The County of Wetaskiwin is accepting Tenders from qualified individuals, businesses, or organizations to lease County-owned lands.
This Tender is intended to ensure transparency, fairness, and the best use of public assets while maximizing community benefit and financial return.
Lease terms include:
- 5-year lease period
- Insurance requirements: general liability coverage
- Any improvements or alterations require prior County approval
The Land Lease Tender Application is available at the County Office or online.
SEALED submissions must be received by the deadline of 12:00 pm on July 13, 2026. Proposals should be submitted to: 243019A Hwy 13 - Box 6960 Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 2G5
Late proposals will not be considered.
Bids will be opened at 1:00 pm on July 13, 2026, and evaluated based on predetermined criteria including price, experience, and proposed use. All bids will be handled confidentially and fairly.

The lease will be awarded by issuing a Letter of Award, followed by finalizing and signing the lease agreement. Any required payments will be collected at this time.
