Advisory - This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Wetaskiwin County has issued a Wildfire Alert.

Area: This alert is in effect for everyone in Wetaskiwin County between Range Road 70 and Range Road 80, and between Township Road 450 and Township Road 460.
Description: There is a Wlidfire near Range Road 70, just south of the county border, burning to the northwest.
Instruction: Everyone between Range Road 70 and Range Road 80, and between Township Road 450 and Township Road 460 must prepare for a possible evacuation. Bring pets, important documents and medication and enough food, water and supplies to be away from home for 3 days. No evacuation is required yet. If an evacuation is required, go to the Winfield Agriplex, at 401 6 Street in Winfield. Stay tuned www.alberta.ca/emergencyalert or local media for updates.
