The County of Wetaskiwin Utilities Department will be conducting our annual Hydrant Flushing and Inspection Program from May 15 – 19, 2023. Signs will be posted in the Hamlet of Winfield to indicate where the Utilities Operators are working.
During the Hydrant Flushing Program, you may notice your water having a cloudy or brown appearance. This is due to sediment in the line being stirred up during the flushing process. If you notice this, please flush your tap for 5 minutes until your water runs clear again.
