Joint News Release: Range Road 11 (Norris Beach Road) Tender Approved
On February 23, 2021, County of Wetaskiwin Council award the tender for Range Road 11 (Norris Beach Road), Grade, Base, Pave (1.18 km) and Bridge File 7312 replacement, to Crow Enterprises Ltd. for the low bid of $1,822,861.00, and approve project costs up to $2,110,000 which is inclusive of contract, contingencies, bonuses, and engineering costs.
In order to support this project, the County of Wetaskiwin applied for various funding opportunity. On November 19, 2020, the County received notice from Alberta Municipal Affairs awarding $700,000 in Municipal Sustainability Program (MSP) grant. The County of Wetaskiwin is also utilizing $400,000 of the County’s Municipal Sustainability Initiative (MSI) funding for 2021 to support this project.
