Alberta Transportation will be doing bridge repairs on the overpass at Hwy 616 and Hwy 2 (8 km west of Millet) from February 23 to April 15, 2021. Bridge repairs will be completed on the SE corner of the aforementioned structure. Traffic control will consist of a single lane closure and speed reduction (to 50 km/h) on Hwy 616 over the bridge. The EB lane will be closed and the WB lane will be used to accommodate one lane of alternating traffic (controlled by portable electronic light standards). The closure will be in place from Feb. 23 to April 15.
(Note: There will also be a short-term temporary single lane closure and speed reduction (to 80 km/h) on Hwy 2 NB (outside lane) on Feb. 24 in between 9 am and 3 pm. This closure will be below the bridge)
