Our friends at Rimbey Community Home Help Services (RCHHS) and Alberta Health Services (AHS) have provided some information regarding the shift of services resulting from the closure of the Winfield Health Unit.
RCHHS has secured an agreement with AHS as the Contracted Service Provider to deliver Home Care Services in the west parts of the County of Wetaskiwin and parts of Brazeau County.
AHS has also increased their hours for the local day support program, held at the Rimbey Provincial Building and Courthouse to include both a day support and evening support program on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The program is available to home care clients who have physical and memory challenges or chronic illnesses.
