Home Support Services is a resident assistance program that provides eligible residents with light housekeeping services to maintain their independence and remain in their homes. The Home Support Program provides general homemaking, such as: vacuuming, dusting, washing floors, laundry, spring and fall cleaning. Eligible ratepayers may include new parents, up to eight (8) weeks postpartum, seniors, the disabled, or those who may require some extra help while recovering from a surgery, treatment or hospital stay. Referrals can come from family members, friends, doctors, or themselves. A fee based on income is charged per hour and invoiced monthly.
