Roadside Mowing Program

The Roadside Mowing program is 50% complete. The 15-foot mower has mowed between Highway 2 and TWP 814, moving east as weather permits. The 10-foot mower has completed up to Mulhurst Bay, and will continue to work west as weather permits.

Contract roadside mowers have mowed between the west County boundary to TWP 771 and will continue to move east as weather permits.

The Roadside Mowing Program started mowing along subdivision roads, lagoon sites, solid waste transfer stations and in Hamlets with the 10-foot mower the week of June 29 beginning in the eastern portion of the County. County crews roadside mowing with the 15-foot mower began on July 2 in the eastern portion of the County. Contractor roadside mowing with the 15-foot mower will begin on July 7 in the far west end of the County, north of Highway 13.
