[ARCHIVED] Most County Campgrounds Opening May 15, 2021

County Campgrounds 2021

Most County of Wetaskiwin Campground are scheduled to open on May 15, 2021 for the camping season. All County Campgrounds are available on a first come first serve basis and accept cash or cheque only. No County Campgrounds accept reservations. For more information visit our County Campground webpage

We look forward to seeing you at one of our local campgrounds:  

  • Battle Lake - Open May 15, 2021 - $29/night 
  • Buck Lake – Open May 15, 2021 - $29/night 
  • Coal Lake South – Closed until further notice - $27/night 
  • Mound Red – Open May 1, 2021 - $27/night 
  • Red Deer Lake - Open May 15, 2021 - $24/night 
  • Twin Lakes – Open May 20, 2021 - $27/night 

Please remember COVID-19 precautions are in place at all our parks: 

  • Campground playgrounds and beaches are open, except Twin Lakes beach area which is closed until further notice. Please be sure to always follow physical distancing.  
  • One camping unit per site. 
  • Only members of the same household should stay together in a campsite. 
  • Public picnic shelters are closed.  
  • No gathering on docks.  
  • Bringing alcohol-based sanitizer is recommended for hand hygiene when soap and water is not available.  
  • Please be respectful and courteous to the campground attendants and other campers.
