The County of Wetaskiwin has just begun the process to develop its first Transportation Master Plan. A TMP is a long-term strategy that identifies opportunities to improve transportation infrastructure and prioritize infrastructure updates throughout the County over the next 25 years.
The TMP will explore the current transportation system, regional and economic growth and safety and accessibility requirements to recommend transportation improvements. The TMP will align with the Municipal Development Plan (MDP), the Land-Use Bylaw, the Requirement for Area Structure Plan (ASP) Policy and any other relevant County plans.
