The County of Wetaskiwin’s flags have been lowered to honour Town of Millet Mayor, Tony Wadsworth who passed away on July 23, 2021.
“The County would like to send our thoughts and prayers to the Wadsworth family and the entire community of Millet,” said Reeve Josh Bishop. “It has been a privilege to work with Tony over the years, his passion and dedication to his community has been inspirational to all local officials in our area. Thank you for everything you have done for the Town of Millet and the entire JEDI region. Tony was instrumental in building a fantastic working relationship between the Town and the County. We must continue building our relationship to ensure we honor his memory."
