Yellowhead 911 Communications has informed the County of Wetaskiwin that a Telus communications tower has been compromised and landline and cellular service is currently affecting 415 customers in the Alder Flats area. In the event emergency services are required, try another communications provider (Bell, Rogers, etc).
An Alberta Emergency Information Alert has been put out to notify residents in the area. As soon as service has been restored, an update will be sent out via Alberta Emergency Alert.
