Kids Can Catch Event - Mound Red Park

Join us at Mound Red Reservoir (recently stocked with 1,800 trout!) to come give fishing a try! We have the rods and tackle, all you need to do is bring yourself! This event is for anyone wanting to try their hand at fishing…no skill is needed but if you are an avid angler you are welcome to come out too!
Date: Wednesday, June 21, 2023
Time: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Place: Mound Red Reservoir, 281077B Twp Rd 452
Driving Directions: South 6 miles on Range Road 10, then turn East for 1.5 miles to the parking area
Important info:
- Bring your own rod if you have one, otherwise there will be rods to borrow
- Fishing mentors on hand to help new anglers
- Complementary beverages and snacks available, while supplies last
- Free giveaways for youth, while supplies last
