The Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI) is a dynamic and innovative partnership among the City of Wetaskiwin, Town of Millet, and County of Wetaskiwin.  A history of successful working relationships brought the three municipal partners together and created JEDI. 

Acting as a "one stop industrial development shop", JEDI provides investors, developers, site selectors, businesses, and communities with accurate, up to date information, a streamlined development process, and facilitation services that make locating or expanding in the JEDI region easy and efficient.

Home to some of the most affordable industrial land in Alberta, with immediate access to major highway networks, the Edmonton International Airport, a fully certified local airport, and a central location in the heart of the Calgary - Edmonton Corridor, neighboring the Nisku Industrial area, more and more industries are choosing the JEDI region for its competitive advantages.
