I was raised in Viking, Alberta. I graduated from High School with Honors in 1988, then graduated from Office Administration at Lakeland College with Distinction in 1989.
While working at the Treasury Branch in Vegreville I earned my lifeguard certification and used these skills to work my way through the Bachelor of Physical Education program at the U of A, where I graduated in 1996. After graduation I was a personal trainer at Club Fit as well as at The Physical Edge. I also taught First Aid and CPR for 8 years, and was a Youth Councillor for 5 years before joining the team at the County in March 2007 as a By-law Enforcement Officer.
Outside of work, I enjoy raising my daughter, hiking with our dog, camping, swimming and skating.
