The Wetaskiwin and Area Leaders of Tomorrow Awards Program is an annual program that recognizes youth who have made outstanding contributions to their community through volunteerism. By virtue of their nomination, these young people have already demonstrated leadership promise and commitment to their community. Nominations are open to anyone ages 6 to 21. All nominees are honored and recognized individually at the Awards Ceremony held in April at Reynolds Alberta Museum and all nominees are invited to an overnight Leadership Workshop.
We are very proud that since the inception of these Awards in 1997, so many of the nominees have hailed from the County of Wetaskiwin. The County of Wetaskiwin is pleased to be a supporter of this very valuable program since 2000.
